People on the Move: Aqua-Tech, Zurn, OS&B, ECCO Group and NAVAC

A recap of the some of the HVAC/R and plumbing industry’s most recent personnel announcements:

Paul McDonald

Aqua-Tech Sales and Marketing welcomes Paul McDonald to the team as the national sales manager focusing on wholesale distribution. McDonald brings years of experience acquired from the manufacturing and distribution sides of the business. He is also a past chairman of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) and a past board member of the Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Institute (HRAI).

Harry Kandilas

Harry Kandilas has joined the Zurn Canada team in the role of national sales manager. Kandilas brings over 25 years of sales and leadership experience, most recently as general manager of Vinylbilt Windows and Doors.

Kristy Bell

Kristy Bell has accepted the position of national sales manager (Canada) for OS&B. Bell holds over 13 years of experience in the Canadian plumbing and heating industry. In her new role, Bell will be responsible for all Canadian plumbing wholesale sales of OS&B branded products.

Ray Newstead

Ray Newstead has taken the role of division vice president of the Canadian division at ECCO Group Sales and Distribution. Newstead joins ECCO as an accomplished senior executive with several years of building products and HVAC industry experience, most recently in the role of CEO and prior to that in the roles of vice president of operations and CFO. He will be responsible for the oversight of the company.

Kevin Haine

ECCO Group recently promoted Kevin Haine to division vice president of the U.S. division in sales and distribution. Since joining ECCO in 2005 as a territory manager, and more recently as director of manufacturing sales, Haine has contributed significantly to the expansion of the ECCO brand.

In his new role he will oversee the operation of the Kent, Washington sales and distribution center while continuing to strategically build a sales team across the U.S.

Glen Bolger

The company has also promoted Glen Bolger to vice president of operations. Bolger recently held the position of director of manufacturing operations. He will help drive the business to become more efficient and effective, so the organization can better help customers succeed with reliable support and quality products.

Luis Ochoa

NAVAC announced the addition of Luis Ochoa as regional sales manager of the newly created eastern region. Ochoa will spearhead sales efforts and play a key role in expanding the company’s North American customer base. He also will manage relationships with NAVAC’s distribution channels and oversee the company’s representative network to ensure proper tools use and training. He brings more than 25 years of sales and service management experience to his position with NAVAC.
